Tools: Spring (Teespring), Linktree, Instagram, Pinterest, ChatGPT, AI Art Tools
Project Overview
We Make Beats Over Here is a streetwear brand inspired by beatmaker culture created as a hands-on experiment in branding, digital marketing, and creative execution.

Background / The Challenge
As a music producer and marketing student, I wanted to go beyond theory and build a brand from scratch. The goal wasn’t to chase trends or just sell T-shirts, but to create a real-world “marketing lab” where I could learn, test, and grow as a creative marketer. Therefore, I built, WMBOH.
Process / What I Did
- Brand Foundation: Developed the “We Make Beats Over Here” concept, inspired by the beatmaker community. Built the brand identity, logo, and core messaging.
- Building the Backend: Set up a storefront using Spring, purchased the domain wemakebeatsoverhere.com, uploaded first designs, established a visual identity on Instagram, and linked everything via Linktree.
- Campaign Design: Crafted visuals around the words: Forge. Build. Work. Create. Drew influence from Wes Anderson’s film style, curated mood boards, and built an AI-powered creative system with ChatGPT to generate unique campaign imagery.

Results / Impact
- Launched a series of campaign images capturing the brand’s creative spirit.
- Sharpened my skills in branding, design, storytelling, and digital marketing.
- Grew a small, engaged audience on Instagram and connected with other creators.
- Shared the journey on LinkedIn, sparking discussions with fellow creatives and marketers.
Reflection:
Building WMBOH taught me that learning by doing beats theory every time. Every part of the process, from logo design to content rollout, became a lesson in brand building, audience engagement, and the power of authentic storytelling. Creating a solo project with no blueprint or budget pushed me to experiment, iterate, and use new tech (like AI tools) to bring ideas to life.
